Festive Makeup Routine

Good evening internet! I have finally decided to share another blog post, and that is my Festive Makeup Routine. December has to be one of my favourite times for makeup as there is nothing quite like gold eyes and a red lip. Every time I wear these I instantly think of Christmas and the festive season. I hope you enjoy.

My base makeup is the same as it has always been. Rimmel London match perfection foundation, Seventeen stay time concealer, finished off with the Rimmel stay matte powder and a lip balm. I probably need to explore a bit more with new products, but it's so easy to get into the habit of using the same items each day. However, I do love all this makeup, and would highly recommend these products.

After the base I used my usual So Susan dual brow powder, first the dark shade, then the lighter one. Next I applied the Sleek contour kit (light) to my face, focusing on the cheekbones. For blush, I used the Makeup Revolution golden sugar palette. I chose to wear the third colour on the top row (from the left), then the first for highlight. I love this combination and the glow it gives to my skin. I also decided to try out this palette for my eyeshadow, and it worked! I used a combination of the bronze/gold colours then using the highlight (top left) for my inner corner. I actually found this look to last quiet well and I loved how festive it looked. It was more on the bronze side but still, It looked great. My mascara of choice was the Tanya Burr selfie lash, a favourite of mine.

I lined my lips with the MUA lip liner in red drama, then I applied the NYX matte lipstick in Alabama on top. I love this combination and it has became a go-to for me this Christmas.
